Can you survive 20 waves of viscous bugs attacking your computer?
A glitch/virus has infected your computer, and its up to you to stop it. With the help of the regenerating Firewall, and various upgrades throughout the game, you must protect the computer from the various bugs which are trying to destroy it.
Controls:
WASD - Movement
Left Click - Shoot

I dont see how to beat this.
the swarms of tinx enemies take a bit to kill all, the bullets from multiple directions cant reallly be blocked.
and everything takes multiple hits to die anyways.
triple turrets helps a bit but not much.
most other upgrades, i dont see much sense behind (except damage up or health regen)
Fun game, took me 3 or 4 tries to beat with upgrades. Don't think I can beat it without upgrades, the stepping upgrade feels almost mandatory with how many enemies there are sometimes. Sometimes you're forced to take damage which doesn't feel that good, but by then I usually have a healing upgrade which is enough to manage
The small bugs are a bit difficult to hit with such a small aim, but I'm also not good at shooting games so maybe this game is easier for people with better aim.
Thanks for the input! I'm still gauging the level of difficulty the game is at, seems many people think its too hard so I will continue to update the game until it reaches a fair state. Also, don't worry about the not upgrading challenge, that was something from the Newgrounds description which I forgot to take out haha.
WAY to difficult and hard to pick upgrades when being attacked -.-.might help to give a upgrade at start,
Thanks for the feedback! I'll think about adding in different difficulties, maybe making easier difficulties start off with helpful passive upgrades like PC regen and Firewall HP
more so mean if this was a difficult as is i would rate it as expert just not manageable unless you know the game front to back.
Sounds about right haha! As the dev I found myself breezing through, so it's tricky to know where the balance should be for the general public. I am currently working on some general balance changes, making some waves easier and the boss more fair as others have also said its a pretty difficult game. Again thanks for the input!
Did you not have friends test it -.- Rule number one don't be the only tester or you will always feel its to easy.
